Use of Phosphoric Acid and Rice Hulk Ash as Lateritic Soil Stabilizers for Paving Applications

Phosphoric acid (H3PO4) is a product that can be used as stabilizing additive for tropical soils in an exploratory manner by the construction industry. For drying process of this grain, its husks are fuel ovens, generating rice husk ash (RHA), which considered environmental liability if not reused. In sense, paper aimed to evaluate resilient behavior and simple compressive strength, at different curing ages, use phosphoric combined mixture stabilization lateritic soil. The soil was mixed with contents RHA, H3PO4, water compacted intermediate modified Proctor energies. Fractured samples mechanical strength tests were analysed scanning electron microscopy X-ray diffraction. results show potential question terms resilience through addition RHA H3PO4 ages. insertion only produced most satisfying behavior. By adding properties improved, good mixtures obtained paving.
